Don’t bin your tins!

Manchester based charity Lifeshare is looking for people to help the hungry by donating tins or packets of food.

Lifeshare is a voluntary organisation established to help meet the needs of homeless and vulnerable people in Manchester and Salford. They provide emergency food parcels directly to the homeless as well as supporting a number of independent food banks across Manchester.

The charity is particularly in need of the following items:

  • Pasta
  • Rice
  • Tinned Tomatoes
  • Beans
  • Pot Noodles
  • Super Noodles
  • Meals in a tin, e.g. chilli, curry, meatballs

Collection is starting now until October. There are drop-off points in C28, Sackville Street Building and MLG.013, John Owens Building.
