We’ve been enjoying the delights of Levenshulme Market on campus each week for a few years now. With a range of streetfood, snacks, cakes and Fairtrade coffee, a trip to the market on Bridgeford Street is the perfect Tuesday lunchtime treat.
BUT did you know that you can now enjoy all this and more without needing to leave Fallowfield?
Brand new this year, Levenshulme Market will be coming to Owen’s Park every Wednesday all the way through to 6 December. Head to the central square just off Wilmslow Road between 12pm and 4pm each Wednesday for Manchester-sourced streetfood, vintage clothing, artwork, plants, homeware and much more.
What’s so great about Levenshulme Market?
- It’s community-run – You’ll be supporting local businesses while enjoying their tasty treats and handmade goods.
- There’s lots of variety – With the diverse range of artisan traders ever expanding, and you’ll find new produce throughout the year.
- It’s convenient – Now just metres from our Fallowfield Halls of Residence, there’s no excuse not to pop down.
Each week’s list of stalls will be published on the Levenshulme Market website, where you can also find out more about the market’s purpose and ethos.
Don’t miss out on Levenshulme Market in either University of Manchester location this term.
