Are you still thinking about getting the perfect accommodation for next year? Or are you struggling to find housemates? Do not worry, there’s still time to sort yourself out.
With all the semester 2 work catching up on you, it can be quite stressful to find time to sort out your housing. If you’re not sure where to begin, see the handy guide student blogger Rhys put together about everything you need to know about choosing the right accommodation.
Did you know that on average it is more affordable to rent a 4 bedroom house than a 2 bedroom flat? If you’re on the look out for housemates, come along to the ‘Find a Housemate’ event to potentially meet your future housemate(s). This is a great opportunity for you to meet other students who are in the same boat as you. You will also be able to speak to a member of the Manchester Student Homes’ team on the day. Before going to this event make sure you’ve decided on the important factors we’ve put together on our ultimate guide to finding accommodation.
Date: Tuesday 27 February
Time: 2.45pm – 4.45pm
Location: The Atrium, 1st Floor, University Place, Oxford Road
Once you’re ready to officially sign for the house, remember to always get your contract and guarantor form checked. For more tips on this and how you can do so, see our article by Manchester Student Homes.
