Donate your old textbooks to new and returning students.
Since 2013, Manchester students have saved thousands of quality, used textbooks from a life of gathering dust and coffee stains by passing their knowledge onto the next generation – literally.
This year, we’re asking you to donate your unwanted books again. So, search under your bed, blow away the cobwebs and gift your stash to your fellow students.
How to donate
You can donate as many books as you like via our book return boxes – we’ll sort them out from the Library books, don’t worry!
All site Libraries will accept textbook donations, apart from The John Rylands Library and Alan Gilbert Learning Commons. You can also drop off your donations at:
- Hulme Hall accommodation
- Owens Park accommodation
- Ellen Wilkinson building
- The Students’ Union foyer
All books given to Textbook Rescue will be available for students to collect in September.
