If you need to take a break from your work or if you fancy trying something new, have a look at what’s on offer through the University’s Sporticipate programme this summer.
Sporticipate offers a variety of beginner-level sports and physical activity for students and staff at the University. It doesn’t matter if you’ve played sports before – if you want to get active, try something new and meet new people have a look at the timetable to see what’s available.
There are lots of different activities to take part in including Volleyball, Squash, Dodgeball and Badminton. There will be drop-in sessions, more structured ‘learn to’ sessions and one-off events. Equipment is provided for all sessions (except for Squash)* so all you need to bring is yourself, comfortable clothing and maybe a couple of friends. For more information have a look at the Sporticipate website, or like the Facebook group to find out about upcoming events.
If you have any questions about Sporticipate check out the FAQs or email sporticipate@manchester.ac.uk
