The first stage of selection process takes place on Wednesday 7 November beginning at 2pm in the Rutherford Lecture Theatre in the Schuster Building, where you’ll be asked to answer 100 general knowledge questions.
In this year’s edition, The University of Manchester are currently through to the second round, beating University of East London with a score of 155. Keep your eye out for this year’s team in the second round!
The University of Manchester has been doing rather well in recent years, becoming the most successful university (alongside Magdalen College, Oxford) after winning the show four times (in 2006, 2009, 2012 and 2013).
You can find more information on the selection process here.
So…up for the challenge?
