Exam Extra launches on the 2nd January, and that means that once again, there’s extra support from the library to get you through the exam period.
Revision support sessions and wellbeing workshops
Starting on the 7th January there will be a programme of well-being workshops designed to cope with stress of exams – so why not calm your brain and have a croissant at the start of the day or relax and recharge later on in the afternoon?
There will also be practical academic skills revision support through the daily 1:1 drop in sessions where you can pop in and ask advice on anything you’re struggling with. One off workshop sessions will also be held, including help with academic writing and drop everything and revise sessions – designed to help if you’re prone to procrastinating!
The support sessions and workshops will take place at the Main Library and the Alan Gilbert Learning Commons. Check out the full programme
More space, more power, more people
In addition as part of exam extra, there are extended opening hours, extra study spaces and plug sockets, as well as more staff on the floor to help you with any problems.
Digital screens in Main Library and the Learning Commons also let you know where there’s space and PC availability – and don’t forget there are a range of libraries on campus if you want a change of scene or you are struggling to find space.
And, keep your eyes open! You might just find one of our goody bags dotted around the Library each week filled with stationery and refreshments.
