We’re always trying to make sure that your learning experience is the best it can be.
That’s why we’ve refurbished a number of teaching spaces across campus, installing the latest technologies and ensuring that each space is flexible to rearrangement.
The University has used £2.5m from the Merged Endowment fund to renovate regularly used medium-sized teaching spaces, including rooms in the Ellen Wilkinson Building and Simon Building.
Each refurbished room features:
- furniture that can be easily moved to facilitate group learning, workshops and other events;
- AV and media resources;
- additional monitors and screens that allow staff and students to engage with ‘Bring Your Own Device’ technology (this technology will be installed in additional teaching spaces throughout 2019).
Sackville St Building, The Mill, Mansfield Cooper Building, Coupland 3 Building and the George Begg Building have also benefitted from changes to décor, furniture and AV.
If you need to book a study space, there are plenty available through the Library. Or, check out our secret study spots which are hidden across campus.
