Let’s keep moving with UoM Sport and #StayInWorkOut

Whether you’re a regular gym goer missing your workouts or you’re just looking for some ways to keep active and busy, UoM Sport are here to help!

We’re sure you know the many benefits of trying to incorporate exercise into your daily routine. (If you’re struggling to get into a routine, check out our tips here). There are the obvious physical benefits of staying active, but it also helps us think and feel positively and give us more energy. And really importantly at the moment, it can be a way of connecting with others (albeit virtually!)

From school PE lessons with Joe Wicks to free subscriptions to fitness apps, the past week has seen lots of online platforms offer you ways to stay active. And this week sees the launch of UoM Sports #StayInWorkOut campaign.  We want you to stay active, look after yourself and stay connected with the Uni.

Across the UoM Sport social channels you’ll start to see a whole host of videos, live workouts and challenges. There will be daily themes including Motivation Monday! , Wellbeing Wednesday and Feel Good Friday.

We want #StayInWorkOut to show that although we are physically apart, virtually we can come together, workout together have fun and connect.
