Whether you’re looking for a job as your course is coming to an end, or you’re planning for the future and starting to think about what a placement might look like these days, take a look at what the Careers Service have going on over the next couple of weeks:

Employer Events

With upcoming events from EY, Kaleidoscope Group, McKinsey Company and the University’ s own Graduate Talent Scheme covering a range of topics, there’s plenty to discover. You don’t necessarily have to want to work for the companies – these sessions are a good chance to find out about recruitment processes, company policies as well as different types of jobs. There are also advice and information sessions hosted by our Career’s Consultants:

If you’re preparing to enter the workplace, either on a placement year or for a graduate job, then this workshop is for you! Join us for this interactive workshop where Sophie and Jenny, Careers Consultants at The University of Manchester, will share their top tips for preparing to start your new role, business etiquette insights, advice on how to work remotely, guidance on how to make the most of your experience, and much more! Ongoing services:

Don’t forget that over summer, the Careers Service is maintaining its usual office hours of 9-5 Monday – Friday and will be offering support for CVs and applications as well as online Careers guidance appointments.
