Reading Time: 2 minutes

Over the past couple of weeks we’ve been talking about postgraduate study. If a continuing your academia with a master’s or PhD is something that you’re interested in now is the time to find out more. The University has two big events happening around further study, our Postgraduate Virtual Open Week and the Careers Service Virtual Postgraduate Study Fair.

The Postgraduate Virtual Open Week is taking place this week (Monday 2 – Friday 6 November) showcasing both taught and research programmes available at Manchester in 2021. So if you want to stay in Manchester, this is your opportunity to find out what postgraduate study is like here.

There will be a range of live talks and sessions for you to discover more about master’s, PhDs, postdocs and all other further study programmes at the University. Academic staff will be delivering subject talks, find out how the postgraduate taught teaching, learning and the student experience differs from undergraduate level. There are also talks on Student Finance (UK) covering the application process and postgraduate loans, and sessions on postgraduate employability.

You’ll also have the chance to chat with current students and staff and ask them questions. You can search for people to speak with either by subject area or country.

If you’re not able to make any of the talks don’t worry as they will all be recorded and available online after the event.
