Keeping active with UoM Sport online

Reading Time: 2 minutes

UoM Sport are committed to the health and wellbeing of all students and staff, and so in light of the new nation-wide restrictions will be doing everything possible to provide a range of virtual activities, individual and team challenges to help keep you active!

#ActiveAnywhere

Whilst we can’t be running in person activities at the moment, there are still a number of ways that you can stay healthy and active within the government guidance. Our #ActiveAnywhere page will keep you updated with how you can do this safely as well as providing online videos, challenges and classes to support your wellbeing during this period.

Also, keep an eye on @UoMSport Facebook and Twitter for more activities and challenges as they’re released.

Be Active Classes

Be Active face to face classes can’t run, but you can still access online zoom classes. Check out the timetable here and book online on the UoM Sport website.

Running Groups
For PGR students UMRUN will be operating remotely during lock down. The group will be connecting online for a chat and run together via the wonder of zoom. Book here to join a session.

Rundezvous catch-ups are also going virtual. From Thursday 28th January on the last Thursday of each month we will be meeting on zoom to chat and also have a running related talk from a guest speaker. You can sign up to the sessions here.
