Could you be a Students’ Union Exec Officer?

The 8 roles available are open to students from all years of study and postgraduate students.

You can take a year out of studying or it could be your first full-time job after graduation. You’ll get a £19,944 salary, the opportunity to build an impressive CV working for the UK’s largest Students’ Union, and you’ll improve student life, campaigning on issues that matter to you.

The Student Executive Officer team are your voice to the University, meeting with senior leadership at the University as well as in community around us, and they make change for you right here at our University.

Whether you’re passionate about welfare and student rights, creating positive change, holding the University to account, this election is an opportunity for you to change and improve your Students’ Union and the University.

You will also be electing your delegates to go to NUS National Conference to decide on campaigns, policy, and direction of NUS for the next year, shaping their work in representing all students across the country.

Elections Hustings

Can’t decide who to vote for or want to know more about your candidates for 2021? Your student media group, FUSE TV, will be hosting live hustings to ask the all-important questions – tune in via the SU Facebook page and get to know your candidate. Hustings will be taking place from 1 March till 4 March.
