Pint of Science is going online

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Pint of Science is usually a three day festival that takes place in cities across the globe that brings scientists to the pub to share their research with the public.

This year, as with so many other things, it’s going online! Between the 17th and 20th of May, you can grab a drink in the comfort of your own home, watch talks with different researchers about their discoveries and join the online chat.

With talks on themes such as the climate emergency and green living, the positive impact of video games on cognition, and  the future of AI, there’s bound to be something to pique your interest! For the full line up, see the Pint of Science 2021 programme.

As always, the idea behind the festival is that you don’t have to be an expert; the events are a great chance to (virtually) meet like-minded people with an interest in the world of science and research in its broadest sense.
