Register with a GP ahead of vaccination roll out

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Having access to the right medical care is always important, but as the government rolls out the national COVID-19 vaccination programme it’s especially important that you are registered with a local GP to ensure that you receive your invitation.

The University fully supports Public Health England’s campaign which encourages people to have the vaccine because doing so will help to protect you and your family and our University community. The success of the vaccination programme is also one of the government’s key measures in its four-step roadmap out of national restrictions.

Of course, the decision you make about whether to have the vaccine or not is entirely personal, but by making sure that you are registered with a GP you are ensuring you can make that choice when it’s time for your vaccination and that you can access an appointment as quickly as possible.
