Here to help: Assessment and exam support from the Library

Reading Time: < 1 minute

As we head into the exam and assessment period, it’s good to know that the Library is here to support your revision and preparation.

Workshops: Throughout December and January you’ll find workshops offering practical academic support, covering things like academic writing as well as help with dealing with procrastination, challenging unhelpful thinking and managing exam stress.

Drop-in sessions: Join a drop-in session to ask specific questions and get guidance from the My Learning Essentials team and the Library Student team

MLE online resources: There are a wealth of online resources to support all aspects of your study, but the team have put together specific packages to support you at this time:

Christmas opening hours

Staying in Manchester over the festive break or returning early, check out library opening hours.

SCONUL scheme reopening – access academic libraries across the country

SCONUL membership allows you to access the library facilities of other higher education institutions participating in the scheme. So if you’re away from campus over the break and you have a library in the scheme close by you could look into the possibility of going there if you need study space or resources.

To use the Access Scheme, you must first apply to become a SCONUL member. Find out more here.
