Access to Blackboard requires 2-factor authentication from Duo as part of the login process. Please take some time ahead of your scheduled exam to ensure that you can successfully login and authenticate with your device (usually a mobile phone). If you have any problems logging in before your exam please contact the IT Support Centre for help and support.
Online exams taking place on campus in PC clusters will generally not require you to use Duo to log in to Blackboard for exams taking place between 23 May and 10 June 2022. Duo will still be required outside of these locations, and to access Microsoft 365 services including your University email.
If you are off campus you will need to use Duo, in the usual way. If you need to request a Duo login code on the day of your exam (for example because you don’t have your mobile phone or other authentication device) there will be a fast-track process in place to request a code. Information about this will be available on the IT help and support webpage before the start of the exam period.
