The Jisc Discovery tool helps you to understand and explore your digital capabilities. If you’re already using the tool, here are some important steps to take to make sure you continue to have access to your personalised reports.
How you access the tool will not change
You can continue to access the Jisc Discovery tool via the My Learning Essentials ‘Develop your digital capabilities’. However, please don’t use the current version from 18 – 31 July while the update takes place.
Download your report(s) from version 1 ASAP and before the end of 2022
If you have completed surveys in the existing version of the Discovery tool, please download your reports as soon as possible as they will not be transferred to version 2 and access will be removed at the end of 2022.
Benefits of the upgrade
This upgrade will help us support your digital skills development throughout your time at university. The new version of the tool will be more accessible, as well as offering new resources to further enhance your digital skills. You’ll also be able to create favourites, access playlists of resources and enter your reflections in a personal ‘folio area.’
