We’re back in Academy 1 for the biggest volunteering event of the year!
On Tuesday 25 October the annual Volunteering and Social Justice Fair will be taking place in Academy 1, Oxford Road from 11am to 3pm.
No need to book – just turn up – and enjoy speaking face-to-face with up to 100 charities and community organisations working both locally and abroad, including Oxfam, Refugee Women Connect, ReachOut, Guide Dogs for the Blind, S.A.L.V.E International and many more. Milk and Honey will be there too, providing delicious coffee and cake, and information about how to get involved in their campus-based community café.
There’s opportunities to volunteer from home or in person, all of which can be found on Volunteer Hub. We have checked all opportunities, so you can be confident that they’re safe, count towards Stellify and the Manchester Leadership Programme – and that you’ll have a great volunteering experience.
You can get ready for the event and ensure applying to volunteering roles is really easy by registering for a Volunteer Hub account before you attend.
Information about all organisations in attendance at the Fair will be available at manchester.ac.uk/vsj-fair on the day, so you can find out more from home too.
We hope to see you there!
