Get paid to help shape University communications

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Last year we brought together a Students’ Perspectives Group so current students could directly influence and shape our University’s communications – and we’re on the lookout for new members.

The group was formed as part of our commitment to work in closer partnership with our students, and it has already made a big difference, with the group helping to develop important campaigns covering topics like sexual harassment, drug and alcohol harm reduction and exam support.

If you join the group, you’ll be paid with a £15 Amazon voucher for each session you attend.

You can sign up to be a member of the group here.

The group will be in place for the academic year and will be contacted at various points to ask members to join us for focus groups or feedback to help shape campaigns, communications, or projects. There is no commitment for group members to participate in all engagement activities – just those that they wish.

Any current student can sign up. We want the group to reflect the diversity of the Manchester student body and so we are particularly keen to have more representation from students of colour; LGBTQ+ students; disabled students; neurodiverse students and students of faith.
