To celebrate International Women’s Day we’re creating a Wall of Women and we need you!
We understand the importance of valuing women and their achievements, which is why the University is creating a digital ‘Wall of Women’ as a visual showcase of our staff and students for International Women’s Day on 8 March .
We have arranged a photographer to be on campus to take photos of staff and students, to celebrate women from all ethnicity backgrounds, and nationalities, women with disabilities, women of all ages, religions and beliefs, sexual orientations and people across the gender-spectrum who don’t define as cis-men at the University.
We want as many of you to get involved and come and get your portraits taken as possible, but particularly encourage participation from women who may not normally see themselves represented in poster campaigns!
When?
Wednesday 15 February: 10am – 11.15am, 12pm – 2pm, 3pm – 5pm
Whitworth Hall: Committee Rooms
Monday 20 February: 10am – 11.15am, 12pm – 2pm, 3pm – 5pm
Whitworth Hall: Committee Rooms

As well as seeing your face, we’d love to hear your voice too. Take a moment to tell us what equity means to you on our Padlet! https://padlet.com/Learning_OD/what-does-equity-mean-to-you-vlsovqgapse42n
We look forward to seeing you at the shoot!
