If you’re a finalist eligible to complete this year’s National Student Survey (NSS) you should already have received your email invitation to complete your survey. Thank you to those of you who have already completed yours. If you haven’t had time yet, we’d really appreciate it if you could spare ten minutes to give us your views. You can complete your survey online at any time on the NSS website.
Why should you complete your NSS?
Firstly, we really do appreciate your honest feedback about your time here. The NSS is really important to us as an institution – it’s one of the main ways we hear how we’re doing, and that matters to us. Working to improve the experience of students is a major part of the work we do and so it’s important that we’re well informed with the choices we make.
Secondly, we appreciate that surveys aren’t everyone’s idea of fun (even though we really value the results). So as a thank you for your time we’re offering you the chance to enter a prize draw to win one of 17 prizes, including an iPad, vouchers from Amazon, Uber, Deliveroo or LovetoShop and graduation day packages.
Lastly, you can help make a real difference to our local community, because we will make a charitable donation for every completed response. This year, your response will help:
University of Manchester Cost of Living Support Fund
Awarding grants of up to £2000 to help students overcome financial hardship or unforeseen additional costs.
Refugee Women Connect
Working to build a safe life in the UK for all women in the refugee and asylum seeker community.
Greater Together Manchester
Building effective partnerships in communities to bring about positive change by tackling poverty and transforming lives throughout Greater Manchester and Rossendale.
Jump Space
Based in Stockport, providing rebound therapy and sensory play for disabled children and young people and their families.
The organisations have been chosen by the University and Students’ Union because of their close ties with student volunteering and our social responsibility goals.
