This year’s Peer Support Celebration Evening took place this year in Whitworth Hall on 20th April.
The Peer Support Celebration and Awards Event recognised and rewarded our incredible Peer Mentors, PASS Leaders, Student Coordinators, and Staff for their valued voluntary contributions. Peer Support helps first year students transition into university life by providing them with regular support from higher year student volunteers from their area of study. There are over 1700 student volunteers and staff members involved in the Peer Support community.
The awards for Outstanding Contributions to Peer Support and Outstanding Schemes were presented to the winners at the celebration event and the keynote speech was given by Professor Judy Williams.

Thank you to all the supporters of Peer Support within The University of Manchester – Peer Mentoring and PASS can only function with the dedication and support of students and staff involved in the schemes. Follow @uom_peersupport to see more from the team and our amazing student volunteers!
