The Research Degrees and Researcher Development team need your help to pick the winners of the annual ‘Research in Action’ Research Image Competition.
Postgraduate researchers across the institution were challenged to submit images that represent their research and its (potential) impact. Sixteen finalists have progressed to the final.
Voting is now open to all staff and students as the University of Manchester. You can view all images online now. You will also find the link to vote for your favourite and some useful voting guidelines for those who are finding it hard to choose.
The winner will receive £150 and a runner up £50.
Voting closes 9 June.
There will also be an additional in-person ballot at the Postgraduate Summer Research Showcase (PSRS) on 15 June in Whitworth Hall and Christie Bistro (where you can view the images in person). The winner of this ballot will receive an additional prize.
The PSRS brings together researchers from all three faculties to create a unique environment of networking and sharing of ideas. It is also a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the exciting research being undertaken around us.
All are welcome to join us throughout the day, see here for more details.
