Start your Stellify journey at Stellify Week!

From 30 September – 4 October it’s Stellify Week! Whether you’re passionate about making a difference or simply looking for something to add to your CV, there’s something for everyone.

If you didn’t know, the Stellify Award is a unique University of Manchester award supporting your personal development and graduate outcomes alongside your studies.

Undergraduates will complete 25 hours of volunteering, two Ethical Grand Challenges and two leadership roles of your choice alongside your studies, developing key skills that can help you get a good job after uni. Master’s students will complete 10 hours of volunteering, two Ethical Grand Challenges and one champion role.

This week is your chance to find out how to make a real difference in your community and gain valuable skills for your future – make sure to join our Instagram Broadcast channel on your mobile to get updates throughout the week!

🗣️ Monday, 30 September: Stellify Drop in

11am – 3pm – Students’ Union Foyer
Questions about the award? Want to check your progress or get some advice on opportunities? Come along to a Stellify Drop at the SU where we’ll be ready and waiting to answer all your Stellify questions.

Tuesday, 1 October: Volunteering and Social Justice Fair

11am – 3pm – Academy 1
This year’s Volunteering & Social Justice Fair is part of Stellify Week! Come along to see how these volunteering experiences can help you on your Stellify journey and boost your personal and professional development.

🌎 Wednesday, 2 October: Complete the Ethical Grand Challenges on campus

11am – 3pm – Williamson Building – Room 3.59
Come along and complete your Ethical Grand Challenges this Wednesday, and start building the tools you need to become a more socially responsible graduate. EGC team members will be there to help out, and the first 35 students who complete the challenge will get a free coffee voucher! 

💼 Thursday 3 October: ‘What Employers Want – Boosting Employability’ Careers panel (online)

1pm – 2pm
Join this virtual panel session to talk about the skills and attributes that activities can help to prepare you for applying for any job.
