Eligibility
You’ll qualify if you:
Complete an undergraduate degree at The University of Manchester or UMIST.
- Register on a new taught postgraduate course (most courses are eligible; see exceptions on our website).
- Indicate your status as a current student or alumni on the application form.
Claiming your discount is simple
If you’re graduating from the University the discount will be applied automatically.
What’s covered?
- The discount will be applied at the start of each year of tuition.
- It can be combined with loans, bursaries and scholarships.
The discount does not apply to:
- PGCE
- MPhil/MRes (research master’s)
- MSc Adult Nursing
- Courses jointly awarded with another institution including Architecture courses offered jointly with MMU
- Integrated undergraduate master’s (e.g., MEng, MChem)
- Intercalating medicine PG courses
