You’re Not Alone: prioritising your wellbeing this exam season and beyond

As a new year begins and the assessment and exam period approaches, we are here to remind you that You’re Not Alone. We will be aiming to support your wellbeing during this busy time and beyond, offering practical tools, tips and resources to help you stay healthy, focused and balanced.

Running throughout January and February, our You’re Not Alone campaign will provide everything from study strategies to self-care advice, making it easier to look after yourself during exams. Whether you’re seeking help to manage stress, establish a productive study routine or find support, we’ve got you covered.

This year, we’re also placing a spotlight on men’s mental health, breaking down barriers that prevent many men from seeking support as we approach Time to Talk Day in February.

In collaboration with the Students’ Union (SU) and societies across campus, we’re fostering open conversations and promoting wellbeing for everyone.

Practical tools to thrive

We know exam season can feel overwhelming, so we will be highlighting a variety of resources to help you stay on track:

Explore the support wheel

Looking for tailored support? The university’s support wheel is a great starting point. It helps you navigate the range of support services available, including advice on academic challenges, mental health and ways to connect with others in the university community.

It’s ok to reach out

Sometimes, you might need a little extra support—and that’s okay. Whether it’s talking to friends, joining a peer support group or accessing professional services, help is always available.

We’re here to help you thrive—not just during exams, but all year round. So remember: You’re Not Alone. Let’s take care of ourselves and each other, together.
