Contactless tap and go across Bee Network buses and trams

A quicker, easier way for full fare paying adult passengers to pay for Bee Network buses and trams is here! Contactless tap and go is a new hassle-free way to pay.

Manchester students now have lots of easy ways to pay for bus and tram travel, including tap and go.

How does tap and go work?

🚌 On bus: tap once on the ticket machine when you get on.

🚎 On tram: tap the card reader at your tram stop before you get on – and after you get off.

Be sure to avoid card clash. If you use the Bee Network app or have a Bee Network smart card, keep them separate from any payment cards when using scanning the app or tapping on the bus. That might mean taking your cards out of your phone case, purse or wallet to avoid them being charged.
