Where to find Cosy Campus spaces
📍Alan Gilbert Learning Commons (AGLC)
Located by the main entrance on the ground floor, AGLC offers four microwaves, hot water, washing facilities and a generous seating area ideal for both group study and quiet downtime.
📍Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS)
Visit Room 2.094 on the second floor, just past the café. This space includes three microwaves and a calm, comfortable atmosphere for study or relaxation.
📍Arthur Lewis Building
On the ground floor next to the main lifts, this cosy spot provides four microwaves, seating and all the essential facilities for heating meals and taking a break.
📍Booth Street East
This space includes two microwaves, hot water, comfortable seating and all the usual Cosy Campus amenities.
📍Ellen Wilkinson Building
Ellen Wilkinson Commons in C Block features two microwaves, hot water and a refreshed, welcoming environment for students.
📍Nancy Rothwell Building
A quiet, convenient space equipped with two microwaves, washing facilities, hot water and plenty of cosy seating for group or individual study.
📍Main Library
Located at the back of Blue Ground, right hand corner, this area features three microwaves, hot water and a peaceful setting to pause between study sessions.
📍Samuel Alexander Building
In the West Wing common areas on the 1st and 2nd floors, you’ll find one microwave station, hot water and comfortable seating dispersed across spacious study areas.
📍Stopford Building
On the third floor beside the library and Student Hub, this facility has three microwaves and a welcoming environment for both medical students and visitors.
📍Students’ Union
Situated on the first floor next to the central staircase, this spot offers four microwaves, hot water and a lively atmosphere perfect for socialising or relaxing.
📍University Place Drum
Located in the main drum area near the campus shop, this is one of the largest Cosy Campus spaces with five microwaves and a wide seating area ideal for meeting friends or taking a quiet break.
