Local Church events this Christmas break

Throughout the city, Church communities are hosting a range of community and student events as well as Christmas services for all throughout the festive period where you will be made to feel very welcome.

Events include celebration worship services, film screenings, meals and dedicated events for international students and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Union Hall, Stretford Road, M15 6DY We’re showing the film ‘The Nativity Story’ for international students. It’s a great way for students to find out more about the story of Christmas.  

24-30 December: Christmas Meal for International Students Enjoy a warm, home-cooked meal with a local family in Manchester. From 24–30 December, local hosts will be opening their homes to welcome international students for a meal and time together.
Sign up by 12 December, and keep an eye on the app for updates about your host.
