Don’t forget to log your volunteering hours on Volunteer Hub – the deadline to register and complete your volunteering is 31 May. And if you’re working towards your Stellify Award, this is your final chance to complete the current Ethical Grand Challenges before they change next academic year.
Log your volunteering hours – Deadline: 31 May
Volunteered this year? Make it count by making sure you’ve logged your hours correctly so they can count towards your Stellify Award.
- Head to Volunteer Hub to log your hours
- Final year students: you won’t be able to log anything after 31 May – so don’t wait
- Not graduating yet? It’s still worth logging your hours now so you don’t forget later
💡 If you volunteered through Volunteer Hub, your organisation should log your hours for you – just make sure to remind them.
🌍 Volunteered elsewhere? Add your hours under ‘My Additional Volunteering’ on Volunteer Hub and ask your organisation to approve them.

Complete your Ethical Grand Challenges
This is the final year the Ethical Grand Challenges will run in their current format. From September 2026, they’ll become UCIL Short Courses — flexible online courses designed to help you explore real world issues and build transferable skills beyond your degree.
The new UCIL Short Courses will continue to count towards the Stellify Award, with the first courses focusing on:
- Social Justice
- Workplace Ethics
Complete your Ethical Grand Challenges now before the changes launch next academic year.
