The university is looking for friendly and proactive students to work as AskMe Ambassadors during Welcome 2026. You will provide a welcoming and supportive experience to new and returning students.
You will be assigned to one of the below areas:
🗺️AskMe Points & Campus Tours. Offer information, guidance and advice to people on campus.
🏠Halls of Residence Support. Help with queries and signpost students to services at halls.
🎉Event Support. Helping set up and set down event spaces. Answering questions from students and stall holders.
✈️ Airport Pickup. Supporting students transfer from the airport to local transport towards accommodation.
🖊️Student Registration. Support the registration process on campus.
🗣️Student Hubs. Supporting schools in their Student Hubs with tours, information and queue control.
Payment is £12.84 per hour for AskMe Ambassadors.

If you are interested in a more senior role, check out Senior Ambassadors. You will be responsible for a small group of Ambassadors and ensuring they can do their job effectively. This role is perfect for students who have previous Student Ambassadors experience.
Payment is £14.18 for Senior Ambassadors.
