Whether you’re working on an assignment, preparing a presentation or contributing to a seminar, the Academic Success Programme offers free workshops to help you develop your academic English skills.
Our block 2 workshops run from 2 November – 27 November. These workshops are open to all current University of Manchester students.
Workshops for you
Academic Writing: develop your writing, critical thinking and understanding of AI in academic work.
Academic Speaking: build confidence with pronunciation, presentations and contributing to seminars.
Academic Grammar: strengthen your understanding and use of academic grammar.
Workshops are delivered by experienced tutors, both on campus and online. They’re free, voluntary and open to students at any stage of their studies – you don’t need to be a beginner or have English as an additional language to take part.
How to get involved
You can simply turn up to an on-campus workshop.
