From September 2025, the University will replace Blackboard Learn with Canvas by Instructure. This exciting change will enhance your student experience, futureproof our digital learning environment, and address key improvements students have been asking for through surveys and feedback.
We want your input to tell us what training, guidance, and communications you’ll need to feel confident and prepared for the move to Canvas.
Join our Canvas workshop
We’re inviting students to an interactive, in-person workshop where you can help shape the Canvas rollout. It’s an opportunity to share your ideas, meet the Canvas project team, and have a direct impact on how we communicate and train students for the new system.
