Are you ready to take action on some of the biggest issues facing the world today? The Ethical Grand Challenges (EGCs) are now open in Blackboard for all undergraduate and postgraduate taught students, giving you the chance to develop a deeper understanding of key global challenges while enhancing your university experience.  

EGC offers an opportunity to explore

🌍 Sustainability Challenge The Sustainability Challenge will no longer be available after the 2024/5 academic year. Feel empowered to take action on sustainability issues that matter most to you before it’s too late!

⚖️ Social Justice Challenge – Stand up for human rights and fight against discrimination, helping to build a fairer, more inclusive society.  

💼 Workplace Ethics Challenge – Prepare for your future career by navigating real-world ethical dilemmas and learning how to make responsible decisions at work.

How can I get involved?

The challenges are available now on Blackboard!

For undergraduates, you’ll be enrolled in a challenge depending on the year of your study, but you can self-enrol in any of the three challenges. Check out our website for more details.
