If you’re joining us this September, here’s everything you need to know to get started – from registering as a student to securing accommodation, preparing for your course and making the most of student life at Manchester.
Registration
You’ll be invited to register as a student between Monday, 1 September and Monday, 30 September.
Invitations are sent by email in batches, so don’t be concerned if other students receive theirs before you.
If you haven’t already, you’ll need to activate your IT account to make sure you’re ready when your invitation arrives.
You will need to have activated your IT account in order to complete essential parts of registration, including the Right to Study check.
University accommodation
If you’ve already applied for accommodation, you’ll hear from our accommodation team over the next few weeks. Some students may hear earlier than others, but please don’t worry.
If you haven’t applied for accommodation yet, please apply before Sunday, 31 August.
