The 100 Black Women Professors Now (100 BWPN) is an innovative and pioneering leadership development programme from WHEN, aimed at PhD students and University staff who identify as women (+non-binary) from African / African Caribbean or mixed Black diaspora.
Since its launch in 2021, the 100BWPM has more than doubled the number of Black women professors in the UK, and we’re delighted to open applications for our 2026 cohort.
Successful applicants will receive career coaching, sponsorship, mentoring, community building and much more. The programme will also work directly with your line manage plus members of the University’s senior leadership team to improve understanding, engagement and dedicated action that results in genuine cultural change
