Canvas has a clean, intuitive interface with seamless integration across the tools you already use. Whether you’re submitting assignments, joining discussions, or tracking your course progress, Canvas is designed to support your learning journey every step of the way

▶️ Log into Canvas and discover how it can support your learning from day one of the new semester. Enter your username and password, canvas.manchester.ac.uk.

📱 Learn on the go. With the Canvas Student app, you can stay connected to your studies wherever you are. Access course content, contribute to discussions, submit work, check grades and manage your schedule, all from your mobile device. Calendars, to-do lists, notifications, and messages are all in one place to help you stay on track. When you log into the app, make sure to select ‘The University of Manchester’ as your school.

Supporting you all the way

Reporting technical issues is easy with the university’s internal Connect ticketing system and Canvas’s own 24/7 technical support. Help can be found on the left-hand navigation menu on the Canvas dashboard. 

Don’t forget to save your Blackboard information. Remember. if you’re a returning student and used Blackboard last year, you’ll need to download any data you want quick access to by Friday 17 October.
