Academics from The University of Manchester (including PGRs and ECRs) are invited to join Policy@Manchester for a full day, in-person workshop on engaging with policymakers.

Facilitated by the Institute for Government this session will demystify government and explain how to engage successfully with policymakers. Participants will learn how government and policymaking work, explore routes to policy engagement and practise communicating with policymakers. It will combine interactive presentations with activities that allow participants to apply learning directly to their own research areas.
