IT Services will be performing planned maintenance on the Campus Solutions student system, which means it will be unavailable from 3pm on Friday, 17 April to 9am Monday, 20 April 2026.

Jisc, the provider of network services to the UK education sector, are performing maintenance, and this means that there will be approximately 5 minutes’ disruption to eduroam Wi-Fi connectivity at 7pm on Thursday, 12 March.

Brief network outages are expected on the evenings of Tuesday 17 and Thursday 19 February as IT Services completes essential upgrades to the University of Manchester’s data centres.

IT Services need to perform maintenance work on Wednesday 11 February and Thursday 12 February 2026, resulting in a short disruption to network connectivity at some point between 6.30pm and 9pm on both evenings.

IT Services will be performing planned maintenance on the Campus Solutions student system, which means it will be unavailable on the specified dates.

Essential work is scheduled to take place between 8am on Saturday 24 and 8pm on Sunday 25 January. It is not anticipated that students will experience disruption during this time, but should be aware that this will be an “at risk” period.

IT Services are performing the annual upgrade on the Xerox printing system, so the Xerox Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) will be unavailable for use on Tuesday 6 January 2026.

IT Services will be performing planned maintenance on the Campus Solutions student system, which means it will be unavailable from 7pm on Friday 12 December to 8am on Monday 15 December 2025.

The latest updates on connectivity issues with some systems and services, which started on Saturday 29 November and are ongoing.

From Monday 24 November, the IT in-person support desk in the Kilburn Building will be temporarily re-located to the ground floor of Main Library while building works take place.

We’re doing some major upgrades to the University’s network over November. This means there will be short planned periods where WiFi, wired connections, and some key systems might briefly go offline.
