Turn your summer into something amazing by completing the National Student Survey (NSS). Spend just a few minutes sharing your experience and you could win VIP backstage Parklife tickets, flight vouchers or a graduation package.
How it works
If you’re a final-year student eligible to complete this year’s NSS, you’ll receive an email this week from Ipsos with your invitation. You can also complete the survey directly on the NSS website.
Why complete the NSS?
1) Your feedback shapes real decisions
When you complete the NSS, your feedback helps to guide decisions about teaching, assessment, academic support and learning resources. We use your feedback to improve the student experience, so what you tell us genuinely helps to shape what happens next at the University.
2) You could win big
We know surveys aren’t everyone’s idea of fun — so as a thank you for your time, you can enter a prize draw. As well as VIP backstage Parklife tickets, flight vouchers and graduation packages, you could also win shopping vouchers and Uber Eats vouchers.
3) Make a difference to our wider community
For every completed survey, we’ll donate to the following charitable causes:
- The University Cost of Living Support Fund – Providing grants of up to £2,000 to help students facing financial hardship or unexpected costs.
- Manchester Central Foodbank– Part of the Trussell Trust network, providing emergency food and support to people in crisis across the city.
- Barnabus – Working with the Manchester Homelessness Partnership to help people experiencing homelessness find housing and rebuild their lives.
- Ladybarn Community Hub: A local community centre running groups and activities, from coffee mornings and choirs to lunch clubs and youth groups.
These charities were selected by the Students’ Union because students regularly volunteer with them and their work benefits both students and the local community.
Your feedback really does help us build a better university experience.
