Further to the message earlier today (see below) regarding the work submission issue in Canvas, we now know this to be a localised rather than a widespread issue. 

Most students with submissions due today should be able to submit these via Canvas successfully, in the usual way. If you have work due today, please do proceed to submit this via Canvas. 

A small number of students may still experience an issue submitting their work. If this is the case, please raise this via Connect (selecting ‘Canvas’ as the service) and rest assured that you will not be disadvantaged or penalised because of this.

We are aware of technical issues currently affecting some Canvas submissions. 

We are working with Instructure, the supplier of Canvas, as a priority to resolve this issue. 

If you have an imminent assignment deadline, please continue to try to submit your work through Canvas. If you are unable to submit by the deadline due to this issue, you will not be disadvantaged or penalised. 

Our IT and Digital teams are actively monitoring the situation and working closely with the supplier.
