Get vaccinated on campus this autumn

The NHS is offering free walk-in vaccination clinics on campus this November, giving you the opportunity to protect yourself against illnesses including measles, HPV and meningitis.

The clinic is open to everyone and no appointment is needed. Simply drop in on the day.

Where and when

Whitworth Committee Rooms, Whitworth Building, Oxford Road, M13 9PL (the entrance is under the Queen’s Arch)

Thursday, 19 November 2026, 10am to 4pm

Free vaccinations available

You’ll be able to access free vaccinations for:

  • MMR (measles, mumps and rubella)
  • HPV (human papillomavirus)
  • MenACWY (meningitis ACWY)

Protection against MenB will also be available at the same location, with a Community Pharmacy team on hand to help if you’re eligible.

Why get vaccinated?

Whether you’ve recently started at Manchester or are returning for another year, the on-campus clinic makes it easy to check you’re protected against a range of serious illnesses.

With thousands of students learning, living and socialising together, infections can spread quickly. Making sure you’re up to date with your vaccinations can help protect both you and those around you.

Just drop in

There’s no need to book an appointment. Simply visit the clinic between 10am and 4pm to access the vaccines available.

If you’re due a vaccination or aren’t sure whether you’re up to date, drop in and speak to the team who will be happy to help.
