Most services through Manchester Piccadilly will be affected by a planned closure from Saturday 14 February to Sunday 22 February, and again on Sunday 1 March and Sunday 22 March (until 13:00).
While the station is closed (full closure includes platforms 1 to 12, 13 and 14 remain open for restricted services) for track and signalling upgrades, alternative arrangements vary by route, including cancellations, re-routing out of Manchester Victoria, and rail replacement buses from either Oxford Road, Victoria, or Picadilly. This may significantly affect travel to campus, so we encourage staff and students to check their journey in advance, allow extra time, and consider alternative routes or modes of travel.
