Please note: Big Volunteer Day on Wednesday 11 February has been cancelled due to bad weather.
Student Volunteering Week runs from Monday 9 to Sunday 15 February 2026, and it’s a chance to celebrate the impact student volunteers make — and to get involved yourself.
Whether you’re new to volunteering or already part of a project, there are lots of ways to take part across the week, from one-off sessions to larger community activities.
What’s on during the week?
We’re running a range of events throughout Student Volunteering Week, including volunteering sessions, drop-ins and fairs.
Highlights include:
- Post Pals and Community Mapping volunteering sessions
- Stellify drop-ins and careers events
- Students’ Union Volunteering Fair
- International volunteering events
