Manchester Student Homes is once again celebrating the people who help make student life safer, happier and more supportive across the city — and nominations for the MSH Awards 2026 are officially open.

Every year, the awards shine a spotlight on the individuals who go above and beyond to improve the student experience in Manchester. Whether it’s a landlord who consistently supports you or your housemates, or a neighbour who brings the community together, MSH wants to hear about the people who make a real difference.

This year’s award categories

🏆 Outstanding Landlord

For a landlord or private hall who communicates clearly, responds promptly, and genuinely cares about the wellbeing and comfort of their student tenants.

💛 Neighbour of the Year

For that one person or group — on your street, in your building, or on your floor — who helps create a friendly, safe and welcoming environment.

If someone has made your student life easier, more positive or more enjoyable, now’s your chance to recognise them.
