If something has happened that just didn’t feel right – whether it’s harassment, discrimination, sexual misconduct, or other concerning behaviour – you can use Report + Support to tell us and get support.
You’re in control
When you make a report, you decide what happens next. You can:
👩💻 Report anonymously
🗣️ Speak to a trained advisor
❌ Decide not to take things further at any stage
Nothing moves forward without your consent.
What happens when you report
You can make a report online at any time.
- If you report anonymously, we won’t know who you are. Your report will still help us understand what’s happening more generally, monitor trends and improve support.
- If you choose to be contacted, a specialist caseworker will review your report and get in touch within a few working days. This is a conversation, not a formal process – they’ll listen to what’s happened, help you understand your options, and support you at a pace that feels right for you.
From there, you decide what happens next. You might choose to access support offered, put safety measures in place, make a formal complaint or police report, or take no further action.
Whatever you choose, we’re here to help you through it.
What students are reporting
Each year, students use Report + Support to share their experiences and access support. Last year:
👥 More than 500 students chose to speak to an advisor
📝 Reports included harassment, bullying, discrimination, domestic abuse and sexual misconduct
📍Incidents were reported on campus, off campus and online

Confidentiality
While the service is confidential, there may be rare situations where we need to take action or share information. For example, if there are serious safety concerns or legal responsibilities. If this happens, we will explain this clearly and support you throughout.
