Photo of professor Rob Appleby standing in the Students' Union at The University of Manchester, looking at the camera and smiling. Next to Rob is a pull up banner that reads: "Stop for a chat" in bold letters. A green graphic design covers the right half of the image, which has read text overlaid that reads: "AVP Drop-in" with a white calendar icon to indicate that this is an event.

“Our student experience is perfect… Change my mind!”

On Wednesday 20 May, Rob Appleby will be on hand in the Students’ Union from 1pm to hear directly from you about your experience at Manchester. Come and find him for an honest chat.

Rob is the Associate Vice President for Students, and the most senior academic leader at the University focused solely on students and the student experience. That means when you tell him something isn’t working, he can take it into the rooms where decisions are made – and we can make real change happen.

There’s no survey to fill in or any need to book in advance – just turn up and have a conversation.

These drop-ins will be running regularly, so if you can’t make it this Wednesday, there’ll be plenty more opportunities to have your say.

Come and chat to Rob about:

  • Your living conditions
  • How you’re taught
  • The support you receive
  • What’s working – and what isn’t!

Good or bad, Rob wants to hear it.
