Library Training and Support: Summer 2025
Whether you’re tackling final assignments, prepping for resits, or finishing your dissertation, the Library is here to support you all summer long with workshops, online resources, and drop-in support. Here’s how you can get the help you need:
- Workshops – Join one of our focused writing retreats or choose from sessions on academic writing, revision and preparation, reference management, searching systematically, information analysis for literature reviews and managing the challenges of research
- Online Training & Resources – Access a wide range of materials, including Library support for assessment and Library support for Dissertations.
- Drop-in Support – Speak directly to our expert staff during regular drop-in support.

The Manchester Digital Dante Library
The University of Manchester Library is pleased to announce that the first part of the Digital Dante Library, one of the culminating outputs of the ‘Envisioning Dante’ project, will go live on Thursday, 29 May, with second and third parts being added over the course of 2025.

Reminder: Muriel Stott Building Summer Closure
Muriel Stott will be closed from 5pm on Friday, 30 May until the next academic year (2025/26). Building works will be taking place for the redevelopment of the space over the Summer period.
