My Manchester student portal is back

Your student portal is back after essential upgrades – see what’s new and how to use it

My Manchester is every student’s central hub for all online services and activities, and the new version is now available for students to use.

My Manchester connects you to Blackboard, online Library services, University email, your timetable and more.

This version is being relaunched on a new platform that provides safe and reliable online, self-serve access to essential services for all students. Access to some self-serve functions available currently on this Student Support page will remain and be moved over to My Manchester in time.

How to use it

You can login to My Manchester at my.manchester.ac.uk, entering your University username and password.

Take a look at these video guides to help get you started and learn how to access key systems like Blackboard and your teaching timetable.

Future releases

During the Autumn and Spring terms you may also see additional self-serve added to My Manchester, including access to finance services such as updating your bank details. Look out for further updates on Student News for features that will launch in future phases.

When a release goes live, there may be brief periods where students cannot access My Manchester or experience errors when trying to use it. This should not last longer than 30 minutes, and we will post a banner in the system during this time to let users know there may be issues.
